When a winning combination lands, the symbols disappear and the ones above drop down to fill the gaps. The process keeps going as long as another winning combination is formed.

Mystery Symbol
Some symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4 can randomly appear with a gold background. When they form a winning combination, they transform into Gold or Purple Wilds.
- Purple Wild: It randomly copies itself to the left or right. It can replace regular symbols to form winning combinations and changes into a different-colored Wild after the win is settled.
- Gold Wild: It can replace regular symbols to form winning combinations and disappears after the win is settled.

Multiplier
The multiplier starts at x1, meaning the first winning combination is multiplied by 1.
After the first Cascading Reels, the multiplier increases to x2, so the next win is multiplied by 2.
After the second Cascading Reels, it rises to x3, applying a 3x multiplier to the third win.
After the third Cascading Reels, the multiplier jumps to x5, and all subsequent wins are multiplied by 5.
If no winning combination occurs on the next spin, the multiplier resets back to x1.

To be honest, the basic idea is quite similar to many other Mahjong slots. The theme itself isn't anything new, but Golden Mahjong has a few differences in how the Wilds, Cascades, and multipliers work together.
Real Gameplay Experience
After playing several rounds, I found the hit frequency to be fairly moderate, with a win appearing roughly once every 7-10 spins. The Free Spins feature is there, but the base game already has enough going on to keep the spins interesting.
Most of the bigger wins I saw came from consecutive Cascades. When the Gold and Purple Wilds kept landing, one win could lead into another and quickly push the total higher.
